Thandeka Ndlovu is the owner and founder of the events and brand management company, BVB.
With an amazing portfolio of clients both inside and outside Co.Space, she has managed to fill a gap within the events industry. BVB handles every aspect of events such as executive shuttle services and design creation, printing and distribution. They strive to deliver exceptional experiences and extraordinary customer service.
Thandeka is an ambitious woman and an inspiration to talk to. This sweet and always cheery lady is also a dominant force to be reckoned with. With her career beginning in the hospitality and events industries, Thandeka found her calling. With her passion and talent to plan major events, in 2012 she followed her heart and registered her very own events and brand management company, BVB.
Named using the initials of her children, BVB was just a start-up at that point and being a mom and wife, she still had to keep her day-to-day job. In 2016 the “what if’s” that had plagued her for years pushed her to leave her job and run BVB full-time.
With her children’s initials serving as a constant reminder, Thandeka realised that to be the best at what she does, she needs to figure out what she can do to beat the competition. Noticing that in planning corporate events there are many aspects to consider and a number of suppliers to deal with, she became the provider of these services and now offers them for the events she organises. From venue sourcing to lighting to corporate gift branding, she does it all, making it easier for her to pull off incredible events.
What makes her company so successful is that Thandeka doesn’t just plan events and brand gifts for her clients, but she understands their brands, she lives their brands. “I am an extension of the brands I work with,” she says.
After extensive research and understanding the brand and its needs, BVB tailor-makes events to suit each individual brand she works with. Transparency is key for them. To create an experience to remember, this remarkable woman manages every aspect of the event to make certain it is a success.
With a supportive hubby and children at home, she finds her children keep her young at heart. She ensures that she dedicates time to spending with her children and enjoys the memories they share together.
Empowering women and doing what she loves has kept Thandeka and BVB on the fast track to not only creating mesmerising events for years to come but cementing a legacy for her children and their future.
